ProVida Strength & Shine with Biotin is a unique nutritional powder supplement designed to enhance coat shine & lustre, and improve hoof condition & health.
ProVida Strength & Shine with Biotin has been developed by nutritionists using a unique blend of ingredients aimed at improving hoof health and strength for your horse. Made using Flax Seed Meal, Methionine, Biotin, Organic Zinc and Copper, Strength & Shine with Biotin provides a fantastic range of ingredients and nutrients.
This blend contains Flax Seed Meal as a base to provide protein and Omega 3 fatty acids, as well as a range of ingredients renowned for their use in hoof supplements, all at recommended daily intake amounts.
Delivery is included in the cost of the product and takes 2-5 working days (RD addresses can incur further delays). If delivery is to an RD address, please select this option when ordering. This will incur an extra $5 charge.
Daily feeding of 20 - 30g is recommended. 20g is ideal for a pony or miniature horse, and 30g is the recommended feeding rate for a larger horse or those with particularly poor hoof health. If feeding for a specific purpose or desired results are not seen, feeding rate can be increased slightly. For more information view our Feeding & Storage Guide.
For storage, ensure the powder is kept in a cool, dark place, away from sunlight.
Q: Does the Flax Seed Meal have any oil content?
A: We cold-press the whole seed which means we don't extract every last drop of oil out of the seed through the expellers. Our expellers extract two products; Flax Seed Oil and Flax Seed Flake. The Flax Seed Flake is then milled down to a very fine powder to form the Flax Seed Meal used in many of our powder supplement blends. This means there is a very low oil content, but overall the powders are very shelf stable.
Q: How much Biotin is delivered in this product?
A: At a daily feeding rate of 30g for a horse, the average intake of Biotin is 40mg. This is an ideal high level for horses with problematic hooves, prone to cracking and splitting.
Q: How long will it take to see results with this product?
A: Unfortunately good hooves take good time! Total new hoof growth takes up to 9 months, so feeding a hoof supplement will never be a quick fix. However, problematic hooves benefit from a high level of Biotin per day, so with this supplement containing ideal high ratios of each key ingredient, results are often seen within a couple of months.
